An international register of losses has been launched in Diia

The International Register of Damages Caused by Russia’s War Against Ukraine is once again accepting claims for damage or destruction of real estate through “Dia”. Its work was suspended after a Russian cyberattack on Ukrainian registries last December. About this reported Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“Almost every day begins and ends with anxiety, often with damage and destruction of the homes of Ukrainians. Record the consequences of Russian aggression at the international level – submit a statement to the international Register of Damages in The Hague. The service is working again in “Dia”, – says the message.
Through the application, Ukrainians can submit applications for destroyed or damaged real estate: a private house, apartment, country house or garden house, or other residential premises. To submit an application, you must be the owner of the property and have an Act of survey from the local authority.
“The more statements, the stronger the signal about the scale of losses that Russia is causing to Ukrainians.” Fedorov noted.
