In Ukraine, 90% of the employees of the State Emergency Service and the National Police were booked: the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
In Ukraine, 10% of police officers subject to mobilization can join the “Rage” brigade or three additional combat brigades of the National Police of Ukraine. Also, 90% of the employees of the State Emergency Service and the National Police of Ukraine are booked from mobilization.
About this informs Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
“According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the number of conscripted employees of the State Emergency Service and the National Police subject to reservation may exceed 50% by a separate decision of the Minister of Defense, adopted on the basis of a reasoned appeal by the Minister of Internal Affairs. Accordingly, an agreed decision was made to reserve 90% personnel of the State Emergency Service and the National Police,” Klymenko wrote.
It is noted that 10% of the employees of the State Emergency Service have the choice to mobilize to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard or the State Border Service.
“Regarding rescuers: our position is that the personnel of the operational response units (firemen, sappers, rescuers, chemists, engineers, etc.) should be fully booked“, Ihor Klymenko emphasizes.
We will remind that on June 5, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution that provides for the reservation of employees of the State Emergency Service in the amount of no more than 50%. For your information, the petition to the Cabinet of Ministers with a call to provide reservations against mobilization for all personnel of the fire protection and emergency services, operational and rescue services and other civil protection workers received the necessary 25 thousand votes.
