Persons liable for military service will be able to independently choose the TCC and the place of the military medical commission

Conscripts will be able to choose which Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC) to contact and where to undergo a military medical examination (MMC). About this reported Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Transformations and Digitalization.
“We are currently carrying out an important reform of extraterritoriality. We want to remove the need to come to the TCC and joint venture where a person is registered.” – said the official.
Similar changes are also planned for passing the VLC – conscripts will be able to undergo a medical examination in any convenient institution, public or private.
According to Chernogorenko, the reform of the TCC system is planned to be implemented in the near future, and this initiative is supported by the Office of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers. She also noted that the digital infrastructure for implementing changes has already been created, as TCC and JV work in the state registry “Oberig”.
As for VLK, the changes will become operational by the summer of 2025. All hospitals are already integrated into the Electronic Health Care System, which will allow data to be transferred to the Ministry of Defense and the Rezerv+ application.
“We want to give even more flexibility and link the medical examination to any doctor that is convenient for the person: it can be a general practitioner, a family doctor or specialist doctors, if necessary”,” Chernogorenko explained.
