SBU attacked the Crimean bridge for the third time (video)

The Security Service of Ukraine carried out a third successful attack on the Crimean Bridge — this time as part of an underwater special operation, during which the bridge’s supports were mined. About this reported in the SBU.

The operation lasted several months and ended today, June 3, at 4:44 a.m., when the first explosive device was detonated, with no civilian casualties recorded.

The underwater supports of the piers suffered serious damage at the bottom level due to the use of 1100 kg of TNT equivalent explosives. The SBU notes that the condition of the bridge is actually emergency. The operation was personally coordinated by the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk.

“God loves the Trinity, and the SBU always carries out its plans to the end and never repeats itself. Previously, we hit the Crimean Bridge twice in 2022 and 2023. So today we continued this tradition already underwater. No illegal objects of the Russian Federation have a place on the territory of our state. Therefore, the Crimean Bridge is an absolutely legal target, especially considering the fact that the enemy used it as a logistical artery to supply its troops. Crimea is Ukraine, and any manifestations of occupation will receive our harsh response”, – noted Malyuk.

It will be recalled that the first attack on the bridge took place on October 8, 2022 – a truck exploded, which also caused a large-scale fire. In July 2023, the Crimean Bridge again suffered serious damage when two spans were destroyed in an attack. Then Vasyl Malyuk also confirmed that the SBU was behind the operation — it was carried out using Sea Baby surface drones.
