“The Vinnytsia District Administrative Court, by its decision dated March 20, 2025, in case 120/683/25, satisfied the claim of Poroshenko Petro Oleksiyovych to the 6th Volyn Border Detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine (Military Unit 9971). The decision of the head of the department of border service inspectors (type A) of the border service department “Ambukiv” of the 6th Volyn border detachment dated January 16, 2025 N113 on the refusal to cross the state border of Ukraine to Poroshenko Petro Oleksiyovych was recognized as illegal and canceled. – says the message.
Golovan noted that during the examination of the case it became clear that the issue of crossing the border by Petro Poroshenko is controlled at the highest level of the State Border Service.
“However, we know that the decision to ban Petro Poroshenko from traveling abroad in order to protect the interests of our state was not made by the border guards. Colonel Ihor Kaglyak, the deputy chief of staff – the head of the border control organization department, informed the court about who and how they manually manage checkpoints at the border.
It turns out that all Ukrainian border guards were strictly ordered to immediately call the Head of the DPSU immediately upon the appearance of Petro Poroshenko at the border at any time of the day or night. And if they don’t call, then to Colonel Andrii Prostakov. And he will decide what to do next.” – states Ihor Golovan.
We will remind that on February 13, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the NSDC decision on sanctions against the fifth president and People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko. The leader of the opposition reacted to this decision, saying that Zelensky dealt a colossal blow to the internal unity, which “European Solidarity” has steadfastly adhered to since February 2022 and which “is our main weapon in the fight against the aggressor.”
