The government has simplified the procedure for paying assistance to injured volunteers and their families

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has simplified the procedure for receiving one-time assistance for the families of deceased volunteers and benefactors who became disabled while supporting the Defense Forces. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

Previously, in order to receive payments, volunteers or their families had to submit an application to the Ministry, and later contact one of the department’s structural units to receive funds. Now, after the changes, payments will be made directly by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. When applying, applicants must specify the bank account to which they wish to receive payment.

The necessary documents can be submitted in person to the nearest Center for the Provision of Administrative Services (CSC) regardless of the place of registration. It is also possible to submit documents by mail or e-mail to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers approved new application forms and clarified the list of required documents. The Ministry noted that this will simplify the process of obtaining assistance, make it more understandable and convenient for applicants.

“This is an important step that reduces bureaucracy and helps the families of fallen volunteers and injured volunteers to receive support from the state faster.” – added the Ministry of Veterans.
