“The government is going to brutally rob the people through a mega-corrupt construction scheme”: People’s Deputy Volodymyr Ariev
Against the backdrop of the deterioration of the energy situation in Ukraine, the authorities and management of Akhmetiv DTEK promise citizens an extremely difficult winter. Previous underfunding and inefficiency in the development of an extensive network of small generation, which could save the situation, leaves Ukrainians vulnerable to the onset of cold weather.

“It is clear. As well as the fact that the state leadership wasted a year and a half before creating an extensive network of small generation, which could now save Ukrainians. It was not difficult to predict the behavior of the Rashist evil spirits in order to prepare for new attacks on large energy generation facilities“, says the people’s deputy.
National deputy Volodymyr Aryev condemns the inaction of the government, which, according to him, does not take effective measures to improve the situation. The lending program for alternative energy does not have a positive impact due to difficulties in obtaining loans and the lack of preferential conditions for small generation.
“In short, the Ministry of Energy and Energoatom want to buy a Russian-made reactor in Bulgaria, because the building structure at Khao NPP is installed under a Czech-made reactor with different dimensions! Not only that, the Russian reactor does not have half of the necessary steam generators, which can only be bought in Russia! Taking into account the fact that the Minister of Energy Galushchenko and the head of Energoatom Kotin, who are fighting for this scheme, are close to the people’s deputy Andrii Derkach, who is accused of treason and working for Russia, the story takes on a special color.”, – said the People’s Deputy.
In addition, the unadopted law on duty-free import of energy equipment exacerbates the situation, making it difficult to reduce electricity prices.
“Millions and millions from Energoatom’s purchases will go into someone’s pocket – we have already seen these tricks, to which the State Auditor firmly closes his eyes”, the politician added.
At the same time, the authorities are planning the implementation of a mega-corruption scheme for the construction of power units at the Khmelnytskyi NPP, which may lead to massive financial losses and technical problems in the future.
According to the MP, Zelenskyi’s government is showing absolute inaction in this matter. The 5-7-9 credit program for alternative energy proved to be too weak, as the conditions for small generation were never created, and the law on duty-free import of energy equipment remained unapproved, even though it could have helped avoid large-scale blackouts in the winter period.
According to the politician, plans for the construction of power units at the Khmelnytskyi NPP have already been openly criticized due to technological problems and a potential large-scale loss of funds.
“Where does the money go from raising tariffs? The authorities are going to brutally rob the people due to the mega-corruption scheme of the construction of two power units at the Khmelnytskyi NPP, – said the deputy.
Aryev’s conclusion is disappointing: the country’s current government is responsible for the extremely serious consequences that can arise from the lack of proper management of energy resources, which endangers the safety and well-being of Ukrainian citizens.
According to the people’s representative, the mentioned actions of the authorities will not contribute to overcoming the energy crisis and will leave Ukrainians in a vulnerable state in the face of possible enemy attacks on power generation facilities.
