Рубио объяснил, как США будут следить за соблюдением перемирия

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States has no problems with monitoring compliance with the ceasefire regime by Ukraine and Russia. He emphasized that Washington has all the necessary technologies to carry out such monitoring. About this informs The Guardian.
«The most interesting thing about modern warfare is that it is easier than ever to control it. And just because there’s so many eyes on the ground, and there’s all kinds of overhead, you know, commercial satellites and things like that. It would be quite difficult to hide drone strikes. It would be difficult to hide missile strikes, ballistic strikes, artillery.” — said the US Secretary of State.
According to him, if Russia agrees to a truce, then it will be necessary to agree on whom both sides will trust to control the ceasefire regime.
«If (the Russians) say yes, one of the things we’ll have to determine is who will be trusted by both sides to be on the ground and monitor some of the small arms fire and exchanges that may occur, but those are practices that have become commonplace in these processes, and I don’t think it’s going to be difficult to adjust.» Rubio concluded.
