In 2024, the three largest charitable foundations of Ukraine collected over 24 billion hryvnias, which is 28% more than in 2023. The lion’s share of all donations fell on the United24 platform, which accumulated 73% of the total amount of funds collected by the three largest funds. In total, United24 raised 17.5 billion hryvnias in 2024, and 92% of these funds went to support the Ukrainian military. In 2024, the Come Back Alive Fund attracted 4.4 billion hryvnias, which is 18% of the total amount of charitable contributions of the three largest organizations. During the three years of the great war, the fund collected 15 billion hryvnias, which were directed to the technical support of the Armed Forces, the purchase of military equipment and the training of the Ukrainian military.
In 2024, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation collected 2.1 billion hryvnias. The total amount of his fees for three years of the war amounted to 8.5 billion hryvnias. The foundation continues to provide the army and volunteer initiatives with necessary equipment, including drones, vehicles and communications.
December 2024 became a record for the amount of fees. United24 raised 61% of all of its annual revenue this month, and the Come Back Alive Foundation received 27.5% of the year’s total donations. The figures for the beginning of 2025 are also record-breaking: 15.7 billion hryvnias were received in the first months of the year alone, which is almost equal to all receipts for 2023 (18.7 billion hryvnias).
In addition to financial support, logistics play a huge role in helping the front. Last year, Nova Poshta transported 63,920 tons of humanitarian cargo in 1.9 million parcels. Compared to the first year of the full-scale war, when 20,000 parcels with a total weight of 1.8 tons were transported every month, in 2024 this figure has increased several times to 160,000 parcels with a total weight of 5.3 tons.
December again became a record month: Nova Poshta transported 216,789 parcels of humanitarian aid weighing 7,203 tons. In total, during the three years of the war, the company carried out 3.1 million humanitarian shipments with a total weight of 118.2 tons. It is important to note that Humanitarian New Post has been operating since 2014, and in 10 years of operation, the total volume of shipments was 3,439,479 parcels weighing 138,428 tons.
The main cargo sent to the front are parts for drones, equipment (tablets, walkie-talkies, charging stations, repeaters), auto parts and tires. Most aid comes from Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, and the main destination regions are Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
