Во Львовской области за сутки отравились угарным газом 8 человек, в том числе 3 ребенка

During the day, 8 people were poisoned by carbon monoxide in the Lviv region. Among the injured are 3 children, informs DSNS press office.

On the night of April 1, two families were poisoned by carbon monoxide in their apartments in the city of Drohobych, Lviv region. The first incident occurred after midnight in an apartment of a five-story building at 10 Knyagini Olga Street. A 32-year-old man and a woman, as well as a 9-year-old child, were injured as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

«The victims, a woman and a child, were hospitalized in the Drogobytsk Central Hospital in a medium condition, the husband refused to be hospitalized», — the message says.

A few hours later, a 70-year-old man, a 66-year-old woman and a 10-year-old child were poisoned by carbon monoxide in the apartment of a multi-story building at 7 Kholmska Street. They were taken to the city hospital in a moderate condition. Currently, experts are investigating the circumstances of the event.

Another incident occurred in the city of Horodok, where two residents of a private house were injured, including a child born in 2008.

«Be careful! Carbon monoxide is an invisible killer. Check ventilation, follow safety rules when using gas appliances and install carbon monoxide alarms,» — emphasized the State Emergency Service.
