On February 18, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi with his wife Olena opened the new building of the Ukrainian Embassy in Ankara.
«Today, together with the first lady, the new building of the Ukrainian embassy in Ankara was officially opened. The project was approved back in 2019, and the walls of the embassy were erected as cooperation between our countries grew. It is very symbolic that the new embassy actually reflects a new level of our strategic partnership.» — noted Zelensky.
The head of state also announced that he held a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Turkey at the Ankara embassy:
«I met with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Turkey. I thank the entire team that is working on such important and good relations.»
We will remind that Volodymyr Zelenskyi is on an official visit to Turkey. There he will meet with the President of Turkey, Recep Erdogan. During the talks, it is planned to consider various aspects of the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as to discuss steps to further strengthen cooperation.
