In Ukraine, the first heavy remote humanitarian demining complex has been certified.

The first heavy domestic remote-controlled complex for humanitarian demining has been certified in Ukraine. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“GART 5100” is the first Ukrainian heavy remote-controlled demining complex developed by the engineering company XTI Engineering. It has successfully passed state certification and is currently being prepared for launch into serial production. The certificate was issued by the State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Weapons and Military Equipment.
The complex is designed to neutralize various types of mines and explosive objects by detonating them or mechanically destroying them with the help of a chain hammer unit or a cutter. This is a completely Ukrainian product: all stages of design, manufacture and assembly take place in Ukraine. This approach significantly facilitates logistics, speeds up deliveries, and also ensures prompt maintenance and repair.
The machine can be controlled remotely from a distance of up to 600 meters. In the case of using a repeater, this distance can exceed 1 km, which guarantees the safety of the operator. The complex is equipped with cameras with a wide field of view, which provides full control over the process.
The working speed of “HART” is 1.5 km/h, and in a day it is capable of cleaning more than 2 hectares of territory contaminated by explosive objects. The depth of demining is up to 300 mm. Interchangeable modules allow you to adapt the machine to work on different types of soil.
