Говоря о роли США, Зеленский категорически отверг возможность любых соглашений, заключенных без непосредственного участия Украины, подчеркнув, что это абсурдно, поскольку именно Украина является стороной конфликта.
«Если Россия и США хотят о чем-то договориться, это их дело, но они не могут решать судьбу наших людей и нашей страны без нас. Мы – независимое государство», – подчеркнул президент.
Он акцентировал внимание на том, что поддержка Соединенных Штатов была и остается ключевым фактором в противостоянии РФ. Однако президент отметил, что последние заявления американских политиков звучат слишком мягко по отношению к Кремлю. По его мнению, Вашингтон пытается найти точки соприкосновения с Путиным, чтобы добиться быстрого дипломатического успеха, но прекращение огня по условиям Москвы не является настоящим успехом для Украины.
