200 children await evacuation from Liman in Donetsk region

About 100 children and their families were taken from settlements located near the front line in the Lyman direction. The evacuation of the civilian population in Donetsk continues.
About 200 children remained near Liman. Together with their parents and guardians, they plan to take them to safe areas in the near future, reports Vadym Filashkin, the head of Donetsk OVA.
Children from Liman are being evacuated to Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk. There they receive the necessary psychological, medical and material assistance.
In addition, 660 civilians still remain in Chasovoy Yar. 346 civilians still live in Krasnohorivka. Due to the intensity of fighting in these areas, it is becoming increasingly difficult to evacuate people. Russians sometimes attack humanitarian missions to evacuate people with the help of drones.
Residents of dangerous areas continue to be supplied with food, medicine and other humanitarian aid. However, the head of the Donetsk regional government calls on the locals to evacuate as soon as possible, as it is no longer possible to evacuate some settlements due to the approach of the front line.
“I would like to remind you that a mandatory evacuation of the civilian population is underway in our region. From June 3, 2024, a free trip to safe communities of the Rivne region has been organized. All detailed information about the dates and times of evacuation, assembly points in your settlement, living conditions, social guarantees and other help you will find for link. For evacuation, you need to submit an application by calling the hotline: 098 890 33 18 or 066 285 62 90, or to community hotlines., – explained Vadym Filashkin.
