Ukrainians can get hearing aids free of charge: Ministry of Health

Ukrainians can get Danish Oticon hearing aids free of charge, which are already available in 43 medical institutions throughout Ukraine. About this reported Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The agency centrally purchased 24,000 such hearing aids, and the first 4,293 have already been distributed. More than 1,600 devices have been delivered to patients and another 1,200 have been configured and installed. Deliveries are expected to continue this year.
“The Aurora Hearing Rehabilitation Center won the tender held by the Medical Procurement of Ukraine. The Aurora Center has 20 regional centers in Ukraine, where an individual insert will be made free of charge and the initial adjustment of the device will be made for all patients receiving hearing aids.” – the message says.
Who can get a hearing aid:
- children and adults with disabilities;
- servicemen with hearing impairment who have not yet received disability status.
