A grant support program for professional training of young entrepreneurs is launched in Ukraine

In Ukraine, a program of grant support for professional training called “Own Business: Space for Development” will start on July 21. The goal of the initiative is to promote the professional growth of young entrepreneurs who continue to do business in wartime conditions. About this reported Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
The program is aimed at those who have already received or are planning to receive grants for the creation or development of their own business. Entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 who belong to one or more vulnerable categories can take part in the program: internally displaced persons, people whose housing was destroyed or damaged as a result of hostilities, residents of frontline regions, young people with disabilities or those who have family members with disabilities.
Also, applications can be submitted by persons who care for minor children or people over the age of 60, participants in hostilities, people with chronic socially dangerous diseases or parents of children with such diseases, as well as those who have lost a breadwinner as a result of war.
Selected participants will be able to use the grant free of charge to pay for or compensate for professional education necessary for business development. These can be international courses, online platforms such as Coursera, Udemy, edX, professional school programs, retraining and professional development centers, as well as authored courses by experts in the relevant fields.
The financing of the program is provided by the international humanitarian organization CORE with the participation of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and Oschadbank.
