A passenger plane crashed in Kazakhstan, there were 67 passengers and 5 crew members on board

According to preliminary data, the passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines flying from Baku to Grozny suffered an accident. There were 67 passengers and five crew members on board the plane that crashed.

The plane gave a distress signal over the Caspian Sea and flew to Kazakhstan for an emergency landing. “Sputnik Azerbaijan” with reference to the airline reports that the cause of the disaster was the collision of the plane with a flock of birds. According to preliminary data, the plane fell into a field near the runway at the Aktau airport.

The Ministry of Emergencies of Kazakhstan confirmed the data about the plane crash near Aktau, where a fire broke out at the crash site. During the plane crash, according to preliminary data, there are those who survived, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. 52 rescuers and 11 units of equipment arrived at the scene of the plane crash
