After meeting with Zelensky, Trump began to form a concept to end the war

On December 9, US President-elect Donald Trump shared his thoughts after a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi in Paris, where both leaders attended the opening ceremony of Notre Dame. Trump said he was working on a “concept” for a quick end to the war. About this informs The New York Post.

According to Trump, he discussed ways to achieve peace with Zelensky and expressed his readiness to facilitate negotiations.

“He wants to negotiate a ceasefire… We haven’t talked about the details. He thinks it’s time, and Putin should think it’s time, because he lost. When you put 700,000 people, it’s time. It’s not going to end , until peace is agreed upon,” – said the US president.

He also emphasized that he is currently formulating a plan that he believes will help end the war.

“I’m formulating a concept of how to end this absurd war”, he said.

It will be recalled that earlier Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after talking with Trump and Macron, stated that he insisted on “effective guarantees” of peace.
