Aircraft technicians of the 114th Tactical Aviation Brigade published an appeal on the mass transfer of the military to the infantry
The aviation and technical personnel of the 114th tactical aviation brigade, based in Ivano-Frankivsk region, appealed to pay attention to the situation with the mass transfer of the unit’s specialists to the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Military they ask publicity of this problem.
The appeal refers to the importance of maintaining the combat readiness of the brigade, which becomes impossible without adequate service personnel. The question is a cause for concern, because the training of aviation technical specialists is long and difficult.
“We, the aviation and technical personnel of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, have been performing our mission on MiG-29 fighters for more than 10 years. Since 2014, we have been preparing and maintaining aircraft, ensuring combat sorties in the most difficult conditions. We had the honor of working alongside such legendary pilots, as “Jus”, “Karaya”, “Smereka” and others. And each of us sincerely believes in our mission and loyalty to the Motherland.
Our unit has received a telegram that almost all technicians have been transferred to the infantry, which means that we will be without technical personnel to maintain our aircraft. Earlier, 250 people were already taken away, now they plan to transfer another 218. The technical staff is actually being destroyed, and without us, aviation will not be able to function.”, — aviation technicians note.
Svitlana Shmadyuk, the wife of one of the soldiers of the 114th brigade, published a video message about the transfer of more than 200 soldiers to the infantry on Facebook and Instagram.
