In Ukraine, an electronic system of rating distribution of medical students for internships has been launched. For the first time, graduates had the opportunity to choose their desired place among all the offered ones, informs press service of the Ministry of Health.
The new system collects and analyzes data on the success of graduates, conducts automated rating distribution for internships, supports the entire process of training interns and creates electronic documents for internships. Thanks to this, external intervention in the distribution process or influence on its results is impossible.
The system is integrated into a single portal of vacancies in medical institutions. The practical part of training interns will take place in the chosen specialty in the positions needed by medical institutions. This year, internships will be distributed among all graduates of higher medical and pharmaceutical educational institutions, who for the first time will be able to choose the desired option by specialty among the places provided for state distribution throughout the country.
Initially, higher education institutions will register in the system and enter data about the graduate and his academic performance, and part of the information will come from the Unified State Electronic Database on Education. After that, the graduates themselves will be able to check their data.
The rating will be calculated automatically. After that, the graduate will be able to submit up to five applications for distribution. The main distribution will take place in June-July, and more than five thousand graduates in the specialties of “Medicine”, “Pediatrics” and “Medical Psychology” will take part in it.
