China took the first place in the import of goods to Ukraine, and Poland – in the export: State Customs Service
Machines, equipment and transport were the main items of import, and food was exported.
China became the leader in importing goods to Ukraine, while Poland topped the list of exporting countries from Ukraine. Such data made public The State Customs Service based on the results of the first half of the year.
The negative balance of foreign trade of Ukraine, when the import of goods exceeds their export, amounted to 13.7 billion dollars.
Ukraine exported goods worth 19.5 billion dollars. The main buyer countries were Poland ($2 billion), Spain ($1.6 billion) and China ($1.6 billion). The main part of exports is food products ($12.4 billion), followed by metals and mineral products.
Imports to Ukraine amounted to 33.2 billion dollars. Goods were imported from China (6.4 billion dollars), Poland (3.7 billion dollars) and Germany (2.6 billion dollars). The main items of import include machinery, equipment and transport ($11.4 billion), chemical industry products ($5.9 billion) and fuel ($4.3 billion).
At the same time, 14% of imports were not taxed, while taxes on the rest of imports increased by 10% compared to the previous half-year.
