Details of shelling in Kharkiv: the death toll has increased

Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported, that as a result of Russian aerial bombs hitting the city on Saturday, June 22, three people died and another 52 were injured. Among the injured are three children aged 12, 13 and 17.
“The number of victims increased to 52 people, among them 23 men, 26 women and three girls aged 12, 13 and 17. Three more people died“, the message says.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.
“My condolences to all those who have lost loved ones. We need strong decisions by partners so that we can destroy Russian terrorists and Russian combat aircraft where they are. We have already proven that protecting people and lives from missile attacks is real, in particular by clearing the border areas from Russian launchers.This determination is needed to protect against bombs“, the president emphasized.
According to preliminary data, the Russian troops made four strikes with guided aerial bombs on Kharkiv, in particular on the area of dense residential development.
Since the beginning of June, the Russian army has dropped more than 2,400 guided aerial bombs on Ukraine, of which about 700 fell on the Kharkiv region.
We will remind that on June 22, the Russians carried out another attack on Kharkiv, using guided aerial bombs, which led to hitting a residential building. The Kharkiv region continues to suffer from constant airstrikes by Russia. According to the information of the General Staff of Ukraine, during the day Russian troops carried out seven air strikes with fourteen air defense systems on Liptsi and hit Vovchansk with a guided aerial bomb. Also, in the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders nine times in the areas of Stepova Novoselyvka, Andriivka, Myasozharivka, and Stelmakhivka.
