In the “Diya” application, a service will soon appear, with the help of which it will be possible to break up online. About this reported Valeriya Koval, Deputy Head of Electronic Services Development at the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The official noted that the possibility of online divorce will be a logical continuation of the online marriage service and reminded that in Ukraine it is already possible to officially register a marriage through the Internet. According to her, more than two thousand couples have already used this function in the Diya application.
If this option becomes available, the spouses will be able to divorce through the “Deed” provided there are no joint minor children and no property disputes. The ministry believes that this will significantly simplify bureaucratic procedures and save people from the need to personally apply to state institutions.
“We are currently studying the processes and technological aspects of implementing this service,” Valeriya Koval explained.
