On February 1, there was an explosion in the premises of the Territorial Center for Procurement and Social Support in Rivne. According to the official information of the National Police of Ukraine, the explosion occurred at 4:15 p.m. As a result of the incident, one person died, six others were injured.
An investigative and operative group, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and emergency services are working on the spot. The territory around the TCC building is surrounded, investigative actions are underway. Law enforcement officers are examining the place of the explosion and establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
The fact of the explosion was also confirmed by the Rivne regional TCC and SP, publishing a corresponding message on social networks. According to journalists, the pedestrian section near the building was closed, but traffic was not restricted.
Currently, there is no threat to residents of Rivne, the situation is under control. This was reported by the police representatives present at the scene. Currently, the investigation into the causes of the explosion and the identification of the responsible persons is ongoing.
