When journalists asked whether the publication of the book was the beginning of Zaluzhny’s political career, sources said that he did not plan to enter politics, but wanted to focus on his work as Ukraine’s ambassador to Great Britain.

Valery Zaluzhny repeatedly expressed his support for Ukraine’s plan to win the war against Russia, but emphasized that “there are no predictions in war — there is only mathematics.” He also declared his rejection of the mobilization of youth aged 18-25, stressing that the future of Ukraine depends on the young generation. Zaluzhnyi noted that if the country reaches such a barrier, when there is a threat to the existence of the state as such, only young people aged 18-25 can save it, because these are completely different people.
