Germany has sent a new package of military aid to Ukraine.

Germany handed over a new package of military aid to Ukraine, which, in particular, included Zuzana-2 howitzers and missiles for the IRIS-T air defense systems. About this testifies the updated list of aid published on the official website of the German government.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 66 mine-resistant vehicles (MRAP), 4 kinetic protection vehicles, as well as 3 Zuzana-2 wheeled howitzers. The delivery includes IRIS-T SLM air defense missiles, ammunition for Leopard-2 tanks, almost 40,000 shells for self-propelled anti-aircraft guns GEPARD, 27,000 155 mm caliber artillery ammunition and another thousand 122 mm caliber.
In addition, the list indicates the transfer of 70 VECTOR reconnaissance drones with spare parts kits, 150 HF-1 UAVs, 20 ground-based unmanned aerial vehicles, 6 Bergepanzer-2 armored technical support vehicles, 4 WISENT-1 demining vehicles with spare parts, and 2 engineering plows.
The list also includes 41 ground-based radar stations, dozens of laser rangefinders, infrared binoculars, diving machines and vehicles for border guards. The package also includes RGW 90 anti-tank grenade launchers, G3 and MK 556 assault rifles, medical harnesses and sleeping bags. This year, Germany intends to allocate almost as much as last year – 8 billion euros for military aid to Ukraine.
