In 2024, Ukrainians received housing loans in the amount of UAH 13.9 billion

Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainians have used the “eOsel” affordable mortgage program to obtain 8,161 loans for the purchase of housing, the total amount of which amounted to 13.9 billion hryvnias. By data, provided by the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Andrii Telyupa, among these loans, 1,922 families took out mortgages for the purchase of housing from developers, which is 23.6% of all loans issued this year.

Only in the last week, 129 loans were issued for the total amount of 222 million hryvnias. Some of them, at a preferential rate of 3%, were received by:

  • 49 servicemen and employees of law enforcement agencies,
  • 11 teachers,
  • 9 doctors,
  • 1 scientist.

Loans at 7% were also issued by:

  • 49 Ukrainians who do not have their own home,
  • 6 internally displaced persons (IDPs),
  • 4 veterans.

The largest number of loans were issued in Kyiv (35), Kyiv region (31), Ivano-Frankivsk region (13) and Lviv region (9).

In total, 74 loans were issued for housing in new buildings, of which 28 objects are under construction. Another 55 loans were issued for the purchase of housing on the secondary market.

The YeOsel program is implemented with the participation of several partner banks, including: Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Sense Bank, Credit Dnipro Bank, MTB Bank, Taskombank and BISBANK.

The YeOselya program continues to provide Ukrainians with the opportunity to purchase their own housing on affordable terms, which contributes to solving the housing issue for many citizens.
