Operative employees of the Chernivtsi border detachment received information that an illegal border crossing was being prepared in the area of the “Falkiv” department.

And indeed, soon the border guards noticed the old UAZ-452, known as the “loaf”, which was moving towards the border. After stopping the car, law enforcement officers discovered that seven men were driving in it – residents of Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
It turned out that these men were trying to escape from Ukraine to Romania, bypassing the checkpoints. For their services, the organizer of the “trip” asked each of them from 6 to 9 thousand euros.
The organizer of the illegal transfer, a local resident who acted under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, has already been detained. He faces liability under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
