In India, a passenger plane was unable to take off for over an hour due to a swarm of bees (video)

In an unusual incident in India, an IndiGo flight from Surat to Jaipur was delayed for more than an hour after a swarm of bees landed on the plane’s open luggage door. About this informs NDTV.
The Airbus A320 was scheduled to depart at 4:20 p.m., but took off only at 5:26 p.m., with a delay of more than an hour for the one-hour flight itself. According to available information, all passengers were already on board when the staff loaded the luggage. At that moment, a swarm of bees decided to land right on the open door of the luggage compartment.
This caused an unexpected situation: the airport staff did not know how to act with such “unscheduled passengers”. At first they tried to disperse the bees with the help of smoke, but without success. Then the fire service was called, which arrived at the runway and started spraying the doors with water. Only after that the bees retreated and the plane was able to take off.
“Flight 6E-784 Surat-Jaipur was delayed due to a bee incident beyond our control, so the flight was diverted after clearance. Standard protocols were followed.” – explained the spokesperson of the IndiGo company.
