In the Bryansk region of Russia, the arsenal where ammunition from the DPRK was stored “self-destructed”
It became known that on the night of November 19, 2024, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, destroyed a large warehouse of Russian ammunition. A powerful explosion occurred in the Bryansk region, in the territory near the city of Karachev.

According to preliminary data, the attack was carried out with the help of drones at night. Thus, the General Staff announced 12 explosions and detonations in the area as of 02:30 this night, 12 secondary explosions and detonations were recorded in the area of the target.
The object of the attack was an arsenal belonging to the main missile and artillery department of the Ministry of Defense of Russia (GRAU). The warehouse stored a large amount of ammunition, including those delivered from North Korea, as well as aerial bombs, known as KABs.
“The destruction of warehouses with ammunition for the army of the Russian occupiers in order to stop the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will continue. There will be more…”, – stated in the press service of the General Staff.
In addition, the General Staff of Ukraine noted that the destruction of such important objects significantly complicates the offensive capabilities of the Russian troops and creates serious logistical problems for the enemy’s army.
And although the Russian side declares the successful operation of anti-aircraft defenses, photos and videos on social networks demonstrate the scale of the destruction at the specified warehouse. The success of the operation is evidenced by the fact that local authorities blocked roads and emergency services were forced to quickly evacuate people.
