As of mid-July 2025, the White Business Club includes 8,882 Ukrainian companies, which is only 0.63% of the total number of registered legal entities in Ukraine. About this informs Opendatabot.
This list includes companies that conduct transparent activities, pay taxes properly, submit financial statements and have no ties to Russia. Since the beginning of the year, more than 4,100 companies have joined the list, while 3,200 were excluded from it.
The total number of participants shows positive dynamics: at the beginning of the year there were less than 8 thousand of them. The largest among the participants of companies engaged in trade and repair of cars — more than 22%. 33 companies from the register appear in this year’s Opendatabot Transparency Index.
Despite the general positive trend, not all companies from the list meet the signs of stable functioning. In particular, six of them are in the process of ceasing operations, one is in the bankruptcy procedure, and another has tax arrears. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion, among the participants of the registry there were also companies with Russian owners – in such cases, the Ministry of Justice recognized certain registration actions as illegal.
The register of “white business” is updated regularly and is considered an important indicator of the transparency of business activities in Ukraine. As the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev explained, the list is formed on a specific date — the last one was formed as of May 31, 2025.
The largest number of companies in the White Business Club work in the field of trade, including wholesale, retail trade and motor vehicle repair (22%). This is followed by enterprises of the processing industry (16%) and the agricultural sector together with forestry and fishing (14%). The register also has a significant share of companies working in real estate (8%) and administrative services (7%).
The largest concentration of transparent companies is observed in Kyiv — 25% of the total number. It is followed by Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (9%), Kyiv and Lviv Oblast (7% each), as well as Kharkiv Oblast (5%).
Among the members of the White Business Club, the highest revenues for 2024 were declared by Ukrhydroenergo — UAH 54.2 billion, Petrol Partner (WOG gas station network) — UAH 49.1 billion, and Roshen — UAH 37.4 billion.
