Modi gave the Indian army complete freedom of action: Pakistan expects a strike in the next 24-36 hours

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the army the power to determine the methods, targets and timing of its response to a terrorist attack in Kashmir that New Delhi blames on Pakistan. At the same time, the government of Pakistan is waiting for a strike in the next 24-36 hours. About this informs The Times of India.
Narendra Modi has empowered the military command to decide on its own whether to retaliate.
“The armed forces have complete operational freedom to choose the manner, targets and timing of India’s response. Our national resolve is to strike a devastating blow against terrorism.” he said.
In addition, the head of government emphasized his confidence in the professionalism of the armed forces and confirmed the full support of the authorities.
In response, Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that Islamabad was expecting a possible strike from India in the near future:
“Pakistan has information that India intends to launch a military operation against Pakistan within the next 24-36 hours on the pretext of baseless and fabricated allegations of involvement in the Pahalgam incident. The nation reaffirms its determination to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan at all costs.”
We will remind that on April 22, armed militants opened fire on tourists at a mountain resort in Indian Kashmir. As of April 24, at least 26 deaths were reported.
In response to the attack, India announced the cancellation of all visas issued to Pakistani citizens starting Sunday. Also, on April 24, the water treaty between the two countries, which had been operating since 1960, was terminated. In Pakistan, such a step was considered an act of aggression.
On April 25, Indian officials reported a brief exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in the Kashmir region. On April 28, India accused Pakistani troops of shelling its territory for the fourth night in a row amid heightened tensions.
