Musk accused Trump of involvement in the scandalous Epstein case

After a public conflict with US President Donald Trump on social networks, billionaire Elon Musk has made serious allegations about his involvement in the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of trading in sexual favors and having relationships with minors. This is Musk wrote in the X network.

“Time to drop a really big bombshell. Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That’s the real reason they haven’t been released.” Musk said.

In July 2019, Jeffrey Epstein was formally charged with creating a criminal network that engaged in sexual exploitation, particularly of minors, between 2002 and 2005. He was taken into custody, and a month later he was found dead in a prison cell. According to the official version, the cause of death was suicide.

In December 2023, as part of this case, a decision was made to declassify a number of documents related to the process against Epstein. The so-called “Epstein files” were expected to name approximately 200 people involved in sex crimes. Former US President Bill Clinton and Donald Trump were named among them.

It will be recalled that the conflict between Trump and Musk escalated on June 5 and entered an open phase, accompanied by mutual accusations and insults. The president called the billionaire “crazy,” and he responded by saying that Trump was “lying.”

The dispute flared up after Donald Trump, during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Mertz, commented to journalists about recent critical statements by Elon Musk. The day before, the billionaire harshly criticized the so-called “one big, beautiful bill” of the US president, regarding tax and budget policy.
