“In a few days, Norway will send troops, consisting of soldiers, aircraft and air defense equipment, to contribute to the protection of the most important hub for the transportation of civilian and military material support from other countries to Ukraine. According to the report, Norway is involved in providing security in the area of Rzeszów Airport in Poland, which is part of NATO’s integrated air and missile defense system.
The mission will last from December to Easter, and Norwegian forces will operate exclusively in Polish airspace. As the minister noted, Ukraine has an urgent need for the supply of military equipment, and Poland remains a key hub for its transfer.
