Oschadbank lost its monopoly on servicing certain categories of pensioners

Oschadbank is no longer the only bank through which pensioners can receive payments under certain conditions. Cabinet allowed pensioners who left the temporarily occupied territories, remain there or are abroad, can choose any authorized bank to receive a pension or use the services of Ukrposhta.
The government has updated the rules governing the receipt of pensions and the passing of physical identification for citizens from the temporarily occupied territories who live in the territory controlled by Ukraine, remain on the TOT or are temporarily abroad.
The main change concerns the fact that pensioners from the temporarily occupied territories, regardless of when they moved and whether they have a certificate of IDPs, can now receive payments not only through Oschadbank. It is allowed to pay the pension through any authorized bank in Ukraine or with the help of Ukrposhta, including home delivery. You can change the bank at the Pension Fund in person, through its web portal or directly at the selected bank.
Pensioners who live in the occupied territories or are temporarily outside Ukraine must undergo a physical identification procedure every year by December 31, and also make at least one spending transaction per six months using a pension bank card.
In addition, pensioners who remain at the TOT or have left there must necessarily inform the Pension Fund of Ukraine that they do not receive pension payments from the Russian Federation. This is confirmed in an application for the appointment, renewal or extension of a pension, or in a separate written application in an arbitrary form.
