In social networks appeared a video recording the “revolt” of the mobilized. The TCC confirmed that during the preparation of the teams to be sent to the training centers, a conflict did arise. At first, a verbal dispute broke out between the conscripts and TCC employees, after which some men barricaded the door from the inside and began to call others to “arm themselves with sticks.”
Law enforcement officers promptly arrived at the building. The Kyiv City TCC and SP stated that such actions were aimed at stabilizing the situation and preventing further escalation, which could lead to uncontrolled actions. Law enforcement officers ensured order at the scene.
“Subsequently, citizens called up for mobilization were sent to training centers in accordance with the distribution of teams”, says the message.
The head of the communications department of the command of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Vitaliy Sarantsev, confirmed the fact of the incident. According to him, there is sometimes a delay in sending the mobilized to the training centers due to security measures, which include regular redeployment and relocating of personnel to protect against enemy fire. Because of this, part of the mobilized people spend some time in a confined space on the territory of a military facility with a restricted regime.
Among them there are persons with low motivation who can incite others to conflict actions. Sarantsev emphasized that the situation is being studied in detail, and measures are already being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
