Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the debts of Ukrainian businesses have increased by 22%

For January-November 2024, the number of executive proceedings regarding tax debt of enterprises increased to 25,225, which is 13% more than in 2023. About this informs Opendatabot with reference to the data of the Register of Executive Proceedings.

Activity in the collection of tax debts has increased significantly compared to previous years. For comparison, 20.7 thousand such proceedings were opened in 2021, 14.8 thousand in 2022, and 22.2 thousand in 2023. Thus, the number of proceedings in 2024 increased by 22% compared to three years ago.

Kyiv with 5.7 thousand proceedings and Dnipropetrovsk region, where 4.5 thousand proceedings were opened, became the leaders in terms of the number of debtor enterprises. Zaporizhzhia region was in third place with 1.3 thousand debts.

The largest debtor in Ukraine is the “Zbruch” sanatorium, against which 77 proceedings have been opened, most of which appeared this year. The second place is occupied by Myrhorod Bread Factory No. 1 with 70 proceedings, and the third is the “Lers” company, which has 44 active proceedings for unpaid taxes.
