SSU warns of new information and psychological special operations of the Russian Federation

The Security Service of Ukraine warned about new attempts by Russian special services to destabilize the socio-political situation in the country. About this informs press service of the department.
According to the SBU, the number of information diversions aimed at dividing society and creating an artificial protest mood has increased significantly recently.
“For provocations, the Russian special services have used the full potential of their bot farms and massively use controlled groups and fake accounts in popular messengers and social networks, most actively in TikTok and Telegram.” – the message says.
In particular, the enemy spreads false information about alleged mass protests and riots in various regions of Ukraine, while at the same time calling on citizens to take actions aimed at disrupting public order and the constitutional order. The SBU also noted that the Russians offer financial rewards for participation in rallies.
The Security Service is actively working on existing and potential threats to national security, and also calls on citizens to be vigilant and not succumb to enemy provocations.
The agency emphasized that actions aimed at violently changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, especially in conditions of martial law, contain signs of a crime under Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. According to this article, the guilty face up to 10 years of imprisonment.
