The amount of pensions of Ukrainian ministers and their deputies has been disclosed

Only two ministers in Ukraine have declared pension payments, and the amounts of these pensions vary significantly: the lowest is UAH 5.3 thousand, and the highest exceeds UAH 40 thousand per month. This was reported by OBOZ.UA.

Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko is one of the pensioners among government officials. He has been receiving a pension for nine years, and his annual pension is UAH 64,520, or about UAH 5,376 per month. He has been declaring this amount in his declarations since 2015, when he first submitted them.

The second retired minister, Ihor Klymenko, who heads the Interior Ministry, declared pension payments of UAH 224,998 last year, which is UAH 18,749 per month.

Oleh Mozhnyi, First Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries, declared a pension for 2023 with an average monthly payment of UAH 20,930, which totalled UAH 251,160 for the year.

Ihor Bezkaravaynyi, Deputy Minister of Economy, receives a monthly pension of UAH 11,229. He previously served in the 93rd separate mechanised brigade ‘Kholodnyi Yar’ and took part in the fighting in eastern Ukraine, where he was wounded near Karlivka in Donetsk region.

Another pensioner in the government is Deputy Finance Minister Svitlana Vorobey, who has reached retirement age. Last year, she received a pension of UAH 251,160, which equates to UAH 20,930 per month.

Oleksandr Porkhun, First Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs, declared a pension totalling UAH 439,809 in 2023, which is an average of UAH 36,650 per month. He is a retired major in the Armed Forces and a veteran.
