The Armed Forces of Ukraine canceled the mobilization of the ex-head of the State Fiscal Service Nasirov: an investigation has been launched

In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the order on the mobilization of the former head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov, who is accused of bribery, was canceled. An official investigation into the legality of his draft is currently underway. About this informs the press service of the Military Law and Order Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“An official investigation is being conducted into the fact that former high-ranking official Roman Nasirov was called up for military service during the court process, information about which appeared in the media”, the message says.

The investigation was initiated in accordance with the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. It was previously established that Nasirov, as a reserve soldier, was called up to the ranks of the Armed Forces during mobilization in a special period.

“The conscription of a conscript, who voluntarily expressed a desire to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was carried out by order of the commander of military unit A0139 dated 04/07/2025”, – the department noted.

Also, during the inspection, it was found that the commander of the unit canceled the corresponding order, recognizing it as illegal.

“Investigation materials with signs of possible abuse of authority will be handed over to law enforcement agencies for proper legal evaluation in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine”, – emphasized the Military Law and Order Service.

The department emphasized that the A0139 unit, where Nasirov served, is part of the structure of the Main Command Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “its units, together with other military units, take direct part in hostilities during all the years of the Russian-Ukrainian war.”

“Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are waging a fierce battle with the enemy for our freedom and independence – our heroes are giving their lives for this. Zero tolerance for corruption is being formed in the Armed Forces. Therefore, any actions aimed at discrediting the Ukrainian army will be strictly stopped.” – added in the department.

We will remind that in 2017, Roman Nasirov was detained on suspicion of receiving a bribe in the amount of 722 million hryvnias from businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk. A preventive measure was chosen for him – arrest with the possibility of a bail of 100 million hryvnias. A few days later, he was released from the pretrial detention center on bail.

In October 2022, the High Anti-Corruption Court ordered his arrest again, this time with the possibility of bail in the amount of 523.2 million hryvnias. In May 2024, Nasirov was released again after posting bail.

On April 9, information appeared that the suspect began serving in the Armed Forces precisely at the stage of court debates. That is why he did not appear at the court session.
