The Cabinet of Ministers announced a simplified mechanism for obtaining a housing subsidy (photo)
In December, Ukrainians will start receiving housing subsidies for the heating season of 2024-2025. Most citizens will receive this assistance automatically, without the need to submit additional applications. At the same time, those who need to apply for a subsidy have the opportunity to submit a simplified application online. About this reminded Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Since the launch of the experimental project on housing subsidies, more than 9,000 applications have already been submitted, mostly through the fund’s electronic services portal.

This project is designed to improve the procedure for providing subsidies that cover the costs of housing and communal services, as well as for the purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid fuel. The procedure for its implementation is approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 13, 2023 No. 601.

Most of the data in the application is filled in automatically, so the user needs to enter information in only 7 fields instead of 21. It is worth noting that this service can be used by families whose costs for housing and communal services exceed the mandatory payment set for them. This payment is calculated individually depending on the income of the household.
