The Cabinet of Ministers decided not to increase electricity tariffs until November

On April 29, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended the Regulation on Special Duties (PSO) on the electricity market until October 31, 2025. Due to this, the tariff for the population remains unchanged — 4.32 hryvnias/kWh for individual and collective household consumers. About this reported Ministry of Energy.

The nighttime tariff for users of two-zone meters also remains at the level of UAH 2.16/kWh.

“The government decided to keep the electricity tariff for the population unchanged in order to ensure the availability of electricity for consumers. We survived a difficult winter and intense enemy shelling, which destroyed and damaged about 10 GW of generating capacity. Energy companies continue large-scale renewable and repair works throughout the country”, – noted Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko.

The last revision of the tariff took place on June 1, 2024, when the cost increased by 60%. At that time, according to the Ministry, the market price of electricity in Ukraine reached almost 7.5 UAH/kWh.

We will remind that on April 23, the gas supply company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” announced that the annual fixed tariff for gas for household consumers in the period from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026 will remain at the level of UAH 7.96 per cubic meter (including VAT).
