Recently, the status of “limited fitness” for military service was abolished. From now on, all conscripts who had this status must pass a military medical commission. It will soon be possible to receive a referral to the VLK in electronic form. The corresponding function should appear in the “Reserve+” application.
Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, spoke about the planned innovations.
“Now we are working on making it not necessary to physically go to the territorial procurement centers for the referral to the VLK. With the consent of the person, we can upload the electronic referral to “Reserve+”, – noted Kateryna Chernogorenko.
Receiving an electronic referral to the commission will not be mandatory. Conscripts, as before, will be able to take paper referrals to the TCC.
Currently, in the “Reserve+” application, the function of issuing referrals to the VLK for people with the status of “limited suitability” does not work. It is under development. When it will be possible to download the electronic referral in the application, the deputy minister did not say.
