Ukrainian military captured a wounded North Korean soldier in the Kursk region. This information on December 27 confirmed South Korea’s National Intelligence Service, Yonhap News Agency reports.
“Thanks to the real-time exchange of information with the intelligence organization of a friendly country, we have confirmed the capture of the wounded North Korean soldier and intend to carefully study the further development of the situation.”, the message says.
Fighters of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine captured a North Korean serviceman for the first time during hostilities in the Kursk region. The soldier was wounded before he was captured. Along with it, military trophies were captured, including an armored personnel carrier with anti-cumulative protection.
Earlier, Ukrainian special forces deciphered the diary of a North Korean soldier who was liquidated in Kurshchyna.
