The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution that provides for the involvement of war veterans in the basic military training of citizens. About this informs representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
According to the document, changes were made to the Procedure for the organization and implementation of joint military training of Ukrainian citizens for national resistance. Basic training instructors will be combatants who took direct part in anti-terrorist operation and anti-terrorist operation, as well as defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the war against Russian aggression.
We will remind that Ukraine plans to create training centers for national resistance. At the initial stage, a set of instructors is provided.
“It is about the systematic preparation of the civilian population to resist the aggressor. This especially applies to the areas bordering Russia, which will remain our enemy neighbor even after the war.” – explained the deputy head of the Office of the President, Iryna Vereshchuk.
