The Ministry of Health announced the full formation of the Council for the Restoration of “Okhmatdyt”

The Ministry of Health has approved the full composition of the Council for the Restoration of the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdit”, which includes 15 members. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

Initially, eight members of the Council were elected, and at the first stage of formation, seven more members were elected. This consultative and advisory body was created to ensure public participation and control over the transparency of the reconstruction process of the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine.

The selection was based on the principle of rating voting, during which the applications of 10 applicant organizations were evaluated. At the second stage of selection, representatives of public associations, charitable organizations dealing with the prevention of corruption, protection of patients’ rights, development of the health care sector, as well as professional associations in the field of architecture and urban planning could submit applications to the Council.

Thus, the composition of the Council for the restoration of “Okhmatdyt” is fully formed and approved by the orders of the Ministry of Health of August 9 and 19, 2024.

The Council included:

  1. Like Silje, permanent representative of the UN Development Program in Ukraine;
  2. Ihor Katsitadze, health care specialist of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine;
  3. Donatas Butkus, adviser-envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine;
  4. Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board of National Energy Company Ukrenergo PJSC;
  5. Nazar Kupybida, Vice President of Finance of “Concern Galnaftogaz” JSC;
  6. Julia Vysotska, director of PJSC “Scientific and Production Association “Praktika”;
  7. Evgeny Gonchar, head of the department of policy formation in the field of medical guarantees of the Ministry of Health;
  8. Olena Larina, a leading specialist in internal control of the “Okhmatdit” NDSL;
  9. Vyacheslav Bykov, executive director of BF “Tabletochka”;
  10. Oleksandr Sushko, executive director of the international foundation “Renaissance”;
  11. Inna Ivanenko, executive director of “Patients of Ukraine” BF;
  12. Taras Lilyk, deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine;
  13. Svitlana Reva, vice president of the Interstate Guild of Consulting Engineers;
  14. Marina Mamenko, chairman of the board of the Ukrainian Academy of Pediatric Specialties;
  15. Natalia Onipko, president of the “Zaporuka” Charitable Foundation.

The first full meeting of the Council will be held on August 20, at which the participants will consider the phased plan for the restoration of “Okhmatdyt” and provide their recommendations for its implementation.
