The President of Serbia stated that the war in Ukraine is bringing the world closer to “catastrophe”

The President of Serbia, Oleksandr Vučić, cautiously announced the approach of a serious global crisis as a result of the protracted war in Ukraine. Speaking to the media, he expressed concern about further developments, warning of a possible catastrophe, which he said could happen within the next 3-4 months.

Vucic said this in an interview with the Swiss  The World Week.

I am not talking about the third world war, but about a serious confrontation. We are on the brink of a crisis. I think we are very close to her. There is a risk that this will happen even sooner than we expect. We are witnessing the dark end of the situation in Ukraine, and this could have extremely serious consequences if the major powers could not stop this process.” – warned the president.

Vuchich also expressed his conviction that the defeat of Ukraine would be unacceptable for the West, as it would lead to a serious deterioration of the geopolitical situation. He emphasized that if Russia loses the war, it risks losing everything.

“No one can afford to lose. That’s why I went public with this warning that we are approaching a real disaster.”, – he concluded.

Oleksandr Vuchich expressed hope for a quick and effective international response to the situation in Ukraine in order to avoid deterioration of global security and stability.
