On the afternoon of July 3, the Russian army launched a ballistic missile attack on Odesa. As a result of the attack, two people died, three more were injured. About it on the air of the telethon reported Oleg Kiper, head of the regional military administration.
“The port infrastructure was hit by a ballistic cluster missile. Unfortunately, two people died, three were injured, they are receiving medical aid. This is the driver of the truck, and the identity of the other is currently being established. I will give additional information about the others, what their condition is.” – said the official.
An air alert was announced in the Odesa region at 12:48 a.m. following a notification by the Air Force about the probable launch of ballistic weapons from the territory of Crimea. Already at 12:51, there was information about the approach of a high-speed target in the direction of Odessa, after which explosions rang out in the city.
This is already the second attack on Odessa in a day: on the night of July 3, Russia struck with kamikaze drones, as a result of which a residential building was seriously damaged. As a result of the night attack, six people were injured, 11 more were rescued.
In addition to the high-rise building, other objects of civil infrastructure were also damaged. Fires broke out in some apartments, which were promptly extinguished. Six apartments were completely destroyed, another 36 were partially damaged.
