A tragedy occurred in the Odesa region: three children aged 3, 5 and 7 died from poisoning by an unknown substance. About this informs GUNP of Odesa region.
According to preliminary information, two sisters and their older brother accidentally consumed an unknown substance while at home, which probably caused their condition to deteriorate. At that time, their 30-year-old mother was doing housework.
“A 30-year-old woman found her children in a serious condition and called an ambulance. Doctors, having diagnosed poisoning with an unknown substance, tried to save the children, but, unfortunately, the children died.” – the police said.
Criminal proceedings have been opened based on the fact of the incident. Investigators entered data into the EDPR under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: p. 2 hours 2 Art. 115 with the note “accident”, Art. 166 regarding improper performance of child care duties, as well as ch. 1 Art. 321 on illegal storage or production of poisonous substances.
Law enforcement officers are continuing the investigation, inspecting the scene and establishing all the circumstances that could have led to this tragic death of children.
