TikTok resumes its work in the US

TikTok social network stated, which has started the process of restoring the functioning of its service in the USA.
“In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring the service. We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assuring our service providers that they will not be penalized while providing TikTok to more than 170 million Americans and allowing more than 7 million small businesses.
This is a strong stance in support of the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship. We will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that will keep TikTok in the United States.” – says the message.
We will remind you that until January 18, the TikTok application became unavailable in the United States due to a law passed almost a year ago, which requires TikTok to distance itself from its Chinese owner under the threat of a ban. Trump later promised after his inauguration to delay the blocking of TikTok and advocated for the United States to acquire 50% ownership of the company.
